Thank you, a simple expression that can generate an impact on somebody’s life. We should try and contemplate how powerful the “Thank you” is. These two words have the power to change and transform almost everything about us. Appreciate and be respectful is one of the great things that you can ever give to the receiving-end.

Saying the word “Thank you” boosts us our self-esteem, our mental health, and makes our emotions feel positive. Whenever people tried to help me, even though I can manage it on my own, I still thanked them. Despite their busy schedules and minding their own life, they managed to make it out of their way to help me. And because of that, I appreciated their kind gestures.

It can also improve well-being, physical health, can strengthen social relationships, produce positive emotional states, and help us cope with stressful times in our lives. But we still say thank you, and we want the other individual to know that we appreciate what they have done for us and, hopefully, inspire them to support us again in the future.

This sense of social importance allows us to transcend the factors that hinder us from caring. We’re always uncertain if our support is needed, and we know that receiving help from others will make us feel like a disappointment. The act of saying thank you reassures the helper that their support is appreciated and motivates them to do more.

Showing gratitude is more than just a social kindness or a way to make the volunteer feel good; it reassures people that their support is validated, and it promotes further pro-social actions.

See? It’s not hard to say the word “Thank you” to a certain someone that helped you. I’d appreciate it if you guys show gratitude to someone. Maybe, you can change a life with just two words.
